Nice idea, bad design December 26, 2008 Like the other reviews, I agree with the trouble it is to get the remotes into the charging bay. I do not, however, have a problem with the straps. My remotes fit in with the straps in place although I do have to remove the rubber sleeve, but hey, have to do that for the Wii wheel anyway. My problem is that one bay charges nicely, just put the remote in and away it goes. The other bay is a different story. Tried it with just the battery and the piece to hold the battery. No good, tried the battery in the remote, no good. It shows it charging and then a few seconds later the red light goes off. I found that I have to wedge something else in there to keep the charge going. Another issue is the sync button. Just about any game causes you to hit it when you start moving the remote around. I ended up just removing them and problem solved.
I got this particular charger because we didn't want a bunch of accessories lying around, this incorporated the chargers in a Wii base and required just one power cord. In hind sight I think I would prefer the extra cords, a lot less frustration that way...
Good product, Great Customer service September 2, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As other reviews have mentioned, the remotes do not fit well in the station themselves and charge. However, taking the batteries out of the controllers does allow good fit and charges well. Minor inconvenience in my opinion.
Customer service is excellent. I had one of the batteries become corroded and the pack would not charge. I emailed the company and got a speedy response and they promptly sent a new battery pack free of charge. Thanks DreamGear!
very bad: not worth all the work May 16, 2008 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This does not charge very well. The wii remotes do not fit very well and you really have to play with it to get it to charge. One of the battery packs did not fit so will have to fight to return. You have to remove the straps and the wii covers and you still fudge around with it to get it to charge. My kids are not able to put on and take off the strap and covers themselves. This is way more work for me. I will return to rechargeable batteries, the are much less work.

This is a good charger but it is hard to get the remotes on the charger with the strap attached. I would recommend the charger with the fan because the chargers fit better.
