4 out of 5 stars Wii InCharge Dual Charge Station works well   January 6, 2009
It works great. We always have recharged remotes when we go to play. The straps are not a problem at all. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the annoying blinking lights. They are always blinking when they are fully recharged. So basically all the time. Now I just put something in front of it to stop the annoyance.

5 out of 5 stars Great idea and product   January 6, 2009
This charger is very easy to use and works well. You do not have to remove the protective rubbery sleeve to get these to charge. The remotes do not have to be put into the charger in a real tidy fashion for them to charge, just put them so the top is up and the front facing out. Once the light(solid blue) begins to shine, they are charging. Fully charged when the lights begin charging. Each charging space has its own light and they function separately, can begin charging one remote after another and it will tell when one is ready and which one(the light will flash behind the one that is ready) Nintendo does say not to use this kind of battery in their instructions for the remote, but I tried this product anyway, since I had already purchased it. Have had no problems, only convenience from this. It does cause noise on my telephone line when plugged in on the same outlet. I'm just going to plug it in elsewhere, then no such problem. You will save a lot of money quickly, by not having to buy batteries, and rechargable batteries are good for the environment too, compared to regular ones. We don't use our wii real heavily but the batteries included hold a pretty good charge. Take 5-6 hours to fully charge the first time.

5 out of 5 stars Wii Remote Charger   January 3, 2009
We just received a Wii for Christmas and I purchased one of these remote chargers to use with it. I wanted to make sure (after reading some reviews) to get one that could charge with/without the skins. This one works great! We put the special battery packs on to charge while we used the remotes with regular batteries. The packs charged up just fine. I don't know exactly how long they took to charge, I didn't time them or anything, but after a day or so, we replaced the regular batteries with the special battery packs and were off and running. They have been going strong ever since. Yes, the blue light blinking constantly is rather annoying, but we placed our unit off to the side and don't really have to look at it....except when getting the remotes or replacing them. But so far, they seem to hold their charge very well. We have not had any problems with them and are VERY pleased. :)

1 out of 5 stars Defective unit received   January 3, 2009
I was very excited to purchase this charger, but unfortunately it did not work. I left it charging for 12 hours, checked it, and it was still not fully charged. I tried charging it longer. No luck. I charged the batteries with and without the remote attached. Still didn't work. I've decided to return the packs to Amazon for a replacement. I'm still hopeful that I will get a functioning product the 2nd time around.

1 out of 5 stars Didn't work   December 28, 2008

I purchased this as a Christmas gift. The directions said to place battery packs on the charger for 5-6.5 hours; the charger is supposed to flash once the batteries are charged. After 8 hours, the lights never flashed indicating that charging was completed. I contacted the manufacturer, and they told me to charge the batteries for 24 hours; use the batteries until they are drained and try recharging them again. They said that that should reset the batteries. We followed the directions and the batteries still won't charge. We contacted the manufacturer again and they immediately told us to return the item to Amazon.

Customer Service was very responsive and nice to deal with. I'm sorry that the product was non-responsive. I haven't decided if I'm going to try for a second unit or not.
