Product Description The dark knight must contend with a mysterious female vigilante who emulates him but to a more ruthless degree. Studio: Warner Home Video Release Date: 11/14/2006 Run time: 74 minutes Rating: Pg
Amazon.com Fans of the stylized Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and their subsequent feature-length releases (Batman: Mask of the Phantasm) will be pleased to note that the same creative team responsible for those efforts have reunited for this action-filled adventure, which pits the Dark Knight against a fetching vigilante in Bat-gear. Kyra Sedgwick voices Batwoman, whose struggle to bring down the Penguin's illegal arms trade gets her in hot water with his hired muscle, Bane (Hector Elizondo), and prompts Batman (Kevin Conroy) to swing into action. Curt Geda's fast-paced, noir-influenced direction, a solid script by Michael Reaves that stays true to the comic book mythos, and a talented voice cast (which includes Kelly Ripa and David Ogden Stiers) help make Batwoman a welcome addition to the Batman DVD library. The Warner DVD's 45 minutes of extras include an original short ("Chase Me"), nine character bios, behind-the-scenes footage, an interview with Geda, and other audience-pleasing supplements. --Paul Gaita

and Batwoman is... December 1, 2008 The Penguin, Bane and their goonies are up to something sinister. Batman and Robin are doing their best to stop these horrendous crimes. However, they soon realize that they aren't the only one stopping crimes.
Batwoman has entered the picture. And, no, it ain't Batgirl. She's away at college in another city.
Just who is Batwoman? Apparently, it isn't enough for Batman to just accept extra help. He has to know who is behind the mask.
Batman doing the sleuthing makes the entire film fun. That's because Batwoman is just as mysterious as Bruce Wayne is.
Great Batman animated movie October 25, 2008 I thought this was a great movie. It had all of the elements that made the animated series so good, but it was longer. The mystery of who Batwoman was kept me guessing until almost the end when the answer was revealed. If you liked the animated series I would recomment buying this.
Well developed entertaining story. October 12, 2008 The WB-DC Comics collaboration turns out another excellent full length cartoon movie. This one focuses on a mysterious Batwoman fighting crime in Gotham as a vigilante. As a full length movie the authors were able to develop a storyline with much more depth and they did. The result is entertaining and well-made.
The end of Batman the Animated Series.... August 25, 2008 The end of the line. This movie marked the end of Batman: the Animated Series. A mysterious new figure, Batwoman, is in Gotham targeting the criminal underworld. Batman tries to find out who the Batwoman is, coming close, but then finding that it can't be who he thinks it is. It also marks a welcome return of the villain Bane, always a personal favorite.
This movie also serves as a sort of backdoor for Batman Beyond. Take a look at the Batwoman's costume and you kind of get the idea where the suit in Batman Beyond comes from.
batwoman rocks August 8, 2008 here is another great batman animated film which features a new heroe batwoman. who gives batman a ran for his money. this movie was awesome.
