I am a BIG fan of power score products. I utilized this series for GMAT and now for LSAT and each time I saw results. I am fortunate to have a small budget to purchase these basic prep books and followed a stringent 3 month self study plan (I didn't have 1500 to spend on a professional prep program) and I did well on the test. It takes focus , discipline and great prep books, such as POWER SCORE! Logic Games can be scary...the first time I did a pre test I almost cried when I tried to do a LG but after getting through this book LGs became somewhat fun and toward the end of my studying they were a relief from all that READING for the rest of the LSAT sections. This book is a life saver...for anyone who seems LG as a struggle...I have worked through all the other prep books out there and hands down this is the ONLY book worth its weight for LG. I also recommend buying the workbook (white cover). Work your way through the bible do a few lsac preptests then mid-way through your plan work through the workbook as a refresher.

I love this book. I have tried many prep books for the LSAT. Kaplan was ok but Powerscore is wayyyyyy better. I've already taken the LSAT once being prep by the Kaplan books. i did ok. But since i have been studying with the Powerscore books i've learned so much more!!!It's better because it breaks down each section of the LSAT test per book. Other prep books try to explain the entire LSAT test in one book. You can't do that effectively. Powerscore creates one book per section and break it down giving you valuable tips!!! And the tips are easy to remember!! Plus i love the practice drills in the books. VERY BENEFICIAL!! Get the book!! It's worth it!!

This book is a little pricey, but worth it if the games/analytical reasoning section is your weakest section.
The question compiles all the approaches in other books (I've used Princeton Review and SuperPrep). The approaches are termed differently (because companies need to differentiate themselves to sell books). As long as you don't bog yourself down with terminology which isn't testing, and stick to understanding the concepts and approaches, you'll be fine.
The book includes questions to test your grasp of individual concepts, as well as official LSAT questions (referenced by date and year of exam; this helps you keep track of which questions you've done, and saves you money you would otherwise spend on buying individual tests online). You also get detailed explanation sections for each set of questions. Many may find this unnecessary but I've benefitted from learning different/more efficient test-taking strategies in the explanation sections of questions I found most challenging.
Overall, I think this book is worth buying because the games section is all about practice, practice, practice and this book provides just that - using real LSAT questions. The more questions you see, the more familiar you get with approaches to questions, the better and more efficient you are. My book has flags and tabs all over it so i can revisit questions and sections closer to test date. I've used it to the max. After putting in quality time with this book, I can confidently say that my scores and confidence level have improved dramatically after initially testing in the 150s. Whether you have a couple of weeks or a few months, this book will help!

A friend of mine who attends one of the top Law Schools recommended this book to me. It was tremendously useful in helping me prepare for the LSAT. It's very comprehensive, yet it's well written and well organized so you don't get bogged down. Even though I would get through a big chunk of content at a time, it was time well spent. I finished the book in 2 weeks. Logic games were never a weak point for me, but if nothing else, you can always learn to do them faster! SPEED is key! All it takes it practice and some tricks (both of which this book helps you with).

This book is God's gift to man. I took a $1500 prep course but my score on the logic games section refused to go up. Then I purchased this book and it changed my life. But the key is that you gotta take actual practice exams and learn by applying these strategies to actual LSAC lsat exams. Same thing goes for LSAT scientist statistical strategies; you can only learn that stuff by applying it to actual LSAT exams. With these two tools my score was raised significantly on the LSAT exam. Killoran you are the greatest.
