Straight from the LOLCats website comes this relatively small sample of adorable, calculating, mischevious kitties, doing what they do best, acting cute. While there are thousands of these pics on the website, I Can Has Cheezburger? is limited to just over 200. So then why bother buying this book when you can simply browse the website and enjoy many more pictures? Simple. This book is intended for those of us who would rather not spend the entire day looking at a computer screen, who just want to curl up on the couch with a good book. Hard to believe in this day and age of information technology, but there there still exist those of us who value a good book.
One problem I do have with this book is a minor one and some would say it's part of the charm. The captions are spelled phonetically rather than accurately. We as English speakers are trained to look at the entire word and immediately recognize it. Phonetically spelled words are not conducive to this.
Example: EVICTION becomes EVIKSHUN.
Once you get past this minor setback though, the captions become easier to read. Highly recommended for all cat lovers. However, as the quantity of photos is low compared to the website, perhaps it's time for a sequel book???
LOLcat lover's must have December 1, 2008
This book is any LOLcats lover's favorite must-have item. I love mine! It captures the feel of the website, as well as being very handy for the inevetable power outage. It has made me laugh when I need it, and I got one to share, and spread the cheer around.

If you like LOL Cats online, you'll love this book. Its a great little book for brightening up the day with all the antics cats are famous for.

Whether these are your favorites from the web site or not, you need multiple copies of this book: one for home, one for your desk at work, etc. Coffee + this book = I can make it through my work day!
