LOVE LOVE LOVE IT November 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this as a replacement for an older version that didn't survive a dip in the sink (it was actually our fault and not the kids'!). I didn't want a camera with too many buttons and functions, as I use it to take pics of the kids and need to point and shoot quickly before I lose the shot. I haven't had any issues with the camera. It's worked wonderfully from day one. The change from replacing batteries to re-charging it was a great new feature, as was the simplification of the wheel (though I see they've gotten rid of it completely on the newest version). We're considdering this for a gift for my mil, who is hopelessly stuck on her film camera and has minimal computer skills. I do have to agree that bright sunlight ruins your view on the screen, but I found it to be that way on pretty much any digital device. I believe most buyers looking for a good digital camera to invest in will be satisfied.
Kodak does not stand behind their products/ I do not recommend this camera October 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have owned akodak camera for 13 months, I have gotten about 3 months use out of it. Kodak is notorious for freezing up. I sent it in twice and it comes back the same way. Now 1 month passed warranty the Kodak supervisor say's it's not his problem and they will not stand behind their products. It doesn't matter that it is the same ongoing problem because it is 1 month passed the warranty date. I would suggest you purchase a sony they rate much higher and the customer service is much better. These cameras work great for about 1 month then you can pitch it in the garbage. Good luck if you buy it.

This camera is awesome for the price. Takes wonderful pictures (that I take daily) and when you get them printed out at a photo center, they are amazing. Very happy with this camera. Large screen and easy to use.
Kodak Easyshare M863 September 9, 2008 Very small, just what we were looking for. My wife can keep this in her purse so we can take pictures anytime we like. We had a larger Kodak camera for a couple of years now but it is not convenient to carry with us all the time. If your looking for a compact camera to carry on the go, this is the one!
