Great Deal, Tax Free. Better than Blizzard website. November 17, 2008 If you play the game regularly, sure it's convenient to sign up with the bliz plans. But, why pay the tax bliz charges when you can pay the same rate (or better, if you normally go shorter plans) by getting this from Amazon? Always makes a great gift, and never spoils in the mail.
Plus, with the recent release of the expansion (Wrath of the Lich King), your gamer may need a few of these.
Good way to keep playing for free. November 6, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Paying to play online can get really expensive. I stopped playing for a year before I found this link. All you have to do is fill out some surveys and in no time you'll have a 60 day pre-paid card. It really is easy, I've been playing for free for almost a year. Check it out! http://www.prizerebel.com/index.php?r=685719

Excess packaging a hassle and bad for environment November 3, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
My review is about the game CARD, not the game. This card is heavily packaged, which is wasteful, bad for the environment and a hassle. I love playing Warcraft and because my credit card is located overseas, I have to buy the game cards to play instead of adding time online. I wish Blizzard would reduce the amount of packaging. This is a box the size of a full game that only holds a card the size of a credit card.
The most convinient way to get your WoW fix October 20, 2008 After many months of debate I finally caved and bought World of Warcraft. It's great fun and all that but I found one thing I didn't like: The Payment Method. You are expected to give a credit card number and every time your subscription runs out they go and charge that credit card for the next period.
I don't like that that at all. First, I'm not fond of just giving my credit card number for a long term charging option like that. Not just in Warcraft but gyms, online subcriptions and the like. Second, you leave yourself suceptible to being charged when you dont want to.(Like when your trying to square away your credit card)
That is why I find the pre paid card the best payment option. You buy what you need. When your running low they let you know and when I finnaly get bored, its over. I dont have to make calls or get online to de-authorize the use of my card. I also think this is a lot safer than credit card subscrptions.
The only flaw? This is a LOT of packaging for something that you are going to use just once and throw away. Such a big box for a card the size of a standard credit/phone card and even the card you throw away after you scratch the number and punch it in. They are all the same so its not like you collect them or anything.
Despite that, this is the ONLY way I play WoW. Highly recommended.
World of Warcraft October 4, 2008 World of Warcraft is going to be in history books for refining the MMO (massive multiplayer online) game experience. They may not have been the first, and admittedly they are not the best, yet more people play WoW (World of Warcraft) than any other game of it's type.
The 60-day game card here is the most flexible way to pay for your game.
