No magic but a good toy January 3, 2009 Got this for my 3 year old daughter, who was fascinated with her friend's Sleeping Beauty guitar. Good toy for the price. Can't figure out the "magic" part - it plays whether you "strum" or not, just push the button and it goes through five songs, then stops until button is pushed again. Defective? Well, she loves it so no matter! No volume control (put tape over the speaker) and no off switch so those are the negs.
magic guitar October 24, 2008 got this for our grandson to go with the keyboard that we got him....he absolutly loves it..!!...hours of fun..!!
Fun for ages 6+ July 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my almost 3-year old for Christmas, and he really enjoyed it. My six-year old also enjoys it. It's one of those toys that gets played with for awhile and then set aside and "rediscovered" a few months later.
Not much to it. July 3, 2008 My son got this for his 2nd birthday. It was played with for a few minutes before moving on to the next thing. He has a hard time figuring out how to hold it. He can't seem to hold it and work some of the buttons. Also, I've noticed when playing with it that you practically have to have your arm all the way through the hole for the music to continue. It's hard to pretend to strum it because your whole had has to be in it. For the price, it's a fairly inexpensive musical toy.
Good for even younger kids March 17, 2008 My husband is a guitarist so we had to get our 8 month old a guitar on his first Christmas. I bought this one even though it is for older ages and he still has a blast with it and I can tell he will grow with it. It is very good quality and I got it on the super Christmas toy sale and it was only 6 or 7 dollars so quite a bargain.
