This was purchased as a Christmas Gift formy daughter. She loves the High School Musical Movie, and has always wanted to learn the dances from the movie. This product comes with a step-by-step DVD to explain and show the dance moves, coordinating with the numbered spots on the dance mat. My daughter is enjoying learning the dances and she likes the girl who does the teaching on the DVD. The only dissappointment is that the mat is not an interactive plug-in, so she does not receive any kind of feeback on how she is doing.

This is a very good dance instructional toy for all the High School Musical fans who want to learn the moves to 3 of the HSM songs (Getcha Head in the Game, What I've Been Looking For and We're All in this Together). Being disappointed with a few HSM toys out there (poor quality, cheaply made, etc) I was hesitant to purchase this one, because I hadn't read any reviews. So I have decided to help those parents of HSM fans looking for something fun. Granted, this will take a few times to get these moves down, but the instructor takes it step by step and then goes a bit faster. The mat that comes with the package (similar to the feel of a Twister game mat) can be slippery, so use caution with little ones. The headset is great to play with alone. You use 2 AA batteries and you can hear yourself through a speaker in the headset, in case performing is your forte. There are clips from the movie throughout. You can get this cheaper at Walmart ($29.00), and for that price, it's worth it. Sorry Amazon!
