Following in Dad's footsteps January 5, 2009 I love that Lego's has a Coast Guard Set. Awesome toy with lots of features! Perfect for a kid's imagination. If you purchase this, then you must get the Coast Guard helicopter and quad also!!
Lego you are the best! Son has spent hours with this toy December 28, 2008 Lego is the best. This toy my son spent all day x-mas building and he says the boat floats. Lego is durable and creative for curious minds who love to build. Excellent product
Will keep him busy for a while! December 28, 2008 I got this for my 7 year old son at Christmas, and I didn't realize how complex these things are! Lots of itsy bitsy parts! He managed to do it, and it kept him engrossed for a while. He has now torn it apart twice and rebuilt it. It is a great tool in teaching how to follow directions and paying attention to detail. I do not recommend this for a child younger than 7 though. It could get very frustrating. This isn't just a set of Legos.
Lego is timeless December 26, 2008 I spent an hour on Christmas day putting this together for my 4 year old. Of course, the set is way too complex for him to assemble, but it was still his favorite present. Good news is the lego will add to his collection and grow with him. Already he's quite happy building from his imagination with lego pieces this size, the age guidance seems more applicable to the difficulty of the instructions. Took my back to my own childhood spending Christmas assembling lego.

Bought this toy for my 7 yr. old grandson. He was very excited and made it all by himself. He just loves Legos. Would definitely recommend, teaches children how to follow directions.
