Pretty cute August 22, 2008 I love these blocks because of the color contrasts but they could use a bit of improvement on the sounds. The ball crinkles, but not that loudly. The triangle chimes but you have to shake it hard to get it to chime nicely and the block rattles but it's a puny sounding rattle.
Very Nice Blocks April 13, 2008 My new newborn loves these blocks. Each morning he finds something new to stare at on the blocks! The blocks stimulate his hearing, touch and sight. I like that the blocks have ribbon loops so I can hang the blocks on a mobile, his bouncer, and his play gym. I am sure that these blocks will be well used in the years to come.
Super Fun! May 7, 2007 My son received these as a gift when he was 9 months old. He loved them then and several months later he still loves them! They are soft enough that if he bonks himself in the face with one it doesn't hurt and large enough that they catch his attention and hold it. He loves to chase the ball around and stack the pyramid on top of the cube. Overall I think these are great. They've held up well and are still in great shape.
my kids love these March 30, 2007 I like to leave one of these in each of my twins' cribs so they can look at them as they fall asleep and when they wake up. They really seem to enjoy them. I think that having these in the crib is technically discouraged by the SIDS education campaign, but I have difficulty envisioning how a kid could get into trouble sticking his nose into one of these.
It is an OK toy January 9, 2007 I bought these for my daughter because I read so many wonderful things about the toy in terms of development. While my daughter (now 4 months) will look at the shapes, she doesn't seem all that interested in them. She will hold one for a few seconds and then just throws them aside. They are too big for her to do much with. She has been more interested in the other Manhattan Baby toys that I purchased for her, such as Mr. Whoozit. She likes to grab and reach so big shapes just don't do it for her.
