 lovely toy doesn't seem to have much baby appeal November 2, 2008
This is a really cute little toy, but neither of my children ever showed any interest in it.

My baby's 4 months old and she likes this toy. I hang it in my car above her car seat and she likes to stare at it. The colors are very bold and pretty, it catches her attention quickly and it rattles when you shake it.

You should feel good about purchasing Haba toys, and the rattling caterpillar is no exception.
This is a great toy to hang from a carseat or bouncer. My daughter is very interested in the sound it makes when you pull on the ring and the pieces make a clacking noise. She likes to chew on the caterpillar - it's great for teething. And since it's a Haba toy, you don't need to worry about lead or unsafe paints.
Something other than plastic July 17, 2008
My baby loves this...we hang it from his play gym to keep it interesting. It appears very well made and gives him a new texture/weight of toy to play with.

I love that this toy is made w/ non-toxic paint. It's very cute and I'm sure will be very durable. The string that holds it all together is elastic...so when you pull on the ring on the bottom, the little pieces click & clack together. The red loop on the top looks like it will be able to stretch and attach to anything (car seat, stroller, etc.) Nothing fancy - just a simple, cute toy.
