Overview: The simplest and most reliable monitor available, the BabysenseTM V is comprised of two very sensitive sensor pads which are placed under the baby's mattress, and a high speed microprocessor control unit.The control unit alerts you with a loud alarm if it does not detect any movement for 20 seconds or if it detects less then 10 micro-movements per minute. Even the slightest body motions are registered as movement. BabysenseTM V is not a medical device. It monitors and alerts, but cannot prevent any type of distress. The responsibility of assistance rests on you. BabysenseTM V senses movements and motion only and cannot monitor other occurrences. This item was purchased for my granddaughter after extensive research by my daughter. A great investment and peace of mind for all. It was simple to install and set up. Every parent should invest in this product, I'm glad my daughter did.

You know who you are. You worry about everything. You wouldn't even be looking at this product if you weren't a worrier. BUY THIS TODAY. It is the #1 best baby product that I purchased. And I think I bought them all. I have never written a review before, but I felt compelled to save you some gray hairs. This thing is awesome. I wouldn't even care if I found out 5 years from now that it doesn't work. The fact that I think it does is worth every penny. Don't get me wrong, I still check to see if my son is breathing, but now only 1 out of every 10 times it crosses my mind instead of 10 out of 10. I love this monitor like I love a deep belly laugh and a piece of pumpkin pie. And I am in a good enough mood to make jokes because I got at least 4 hours of peaceful worry free sleep last night with a 10 week old because of this product. Oh and for the record, my Boppy newborn lounger....2nd favorite thing I bought. Sweet dreams for you and your little one.

Works great, only a couple false alarms if the baby moves to the very edge of the crib. The peace of mind is so worth it!!!!! Buy it for the sake of your child.

I am so thrilled with this monitor! It was really easy to install and I sleep SO much better now. My little guy is already 6 months old and I really wish I had known about this when he was born. I let him sleep with the blanket I used to swaddle him with and he likes to pull it over his face or smoosh his face into the corner of the bumper. I was totally neurotic checking if he wa breathing all the time. I will definitely use this on my next one too. My baby is all over the crib at night so I got this one instead of the Angelcare since it has two sensors for under the mattress instead of one. I have told all my pregnant friends about this. It's really cool. I have had a couple false alarms, he got out way on the edge of the crib and was in a deep sleep (I think?), it wasn't a big deal. I totallly recommend this monitor.

With the birth of my first son we can sleep so much better knowing that we would be alerted if something was wrong. We use it for his naps and at night. I set the alarm off all the time. I picked him up to feed him and i forget to shut it off. I had no false alarms
Its a Peace of mind knowing that i can sleep and do things around the house and know he is safe. love IT
