Editorial Review Batter up! This little baseball tee proves it's never too early to start swinging. For true beginners, snap a softened baseball to the plug atop the 9.5-inch tee. As baby swings at the ball with the 7.5-inch easy-grip, hollow, bulbous plastic bat, the ball will stay in place while the tee wobbles on its roly-poly base. When baby is ready for more action, the ball can rest freely atop the tee and she or he can send it soaring--or at least knock it off the tee! As baby grows into a toddler, the tee can be adjusted to proper height, with a pull and a twist, and your child can practice the "step up, wind up, and swing" maneuver. The air-filled plastic ball produces a squeak when it's squeezed, and the classic raised red baseball stitching makes it easy for little fingers to grasp. --Kathryn Gustafson

one word....Boring November 26, 2001 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This toy was given to my son when he was about 9 months old. He never played much with it. The bat became a weapon against our poor unsuspecting dogs too. (as another person had mentioned) the little shapes on the base don't do anything. basically it just sits there. My son would hit it a couple times and then just leave it to rot. I would definilty not recogmend this toy.
Excellent Trip Hazard October 26, 2001 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This product was given to my son, who was at the time, 13 months old. Over the last 10 months, he has never given this toy more than a parting glance. Now, the red plastic bat has given him immense pleasure. The bat makes quite an instrument of terror when aimed properly at our poor unsuspecting animals. Now don't call PETA, the red bat has been put away for the time being.
Not a Great Toy October 16, 2001 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I bought this for my niece for Christmas when she was 6 months old. By the time she was old enough to swing the bat at the ball on the stand, she was too tall. The stand needs to be taller. I do not recommend this.
had 5 1yos together and every single one of them loved it... September 19, 2001 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
we had a bday party for 5 babies turning 1 and this was one of the gifts, all 5 of the babies had their turn playing with it. the bat and the ball were the most played with but they liked the stand also. only thing was the ball didnt stay on the stand very well.

my daughter received this as a gift for her first birthday, and i must say it was very disapointing. giving her a plastic spoon to play with would have kept her more entertained. dont waste your money on this! we're hoping the toys r us store will take it back
