Amazon.com Review With extra-tall 26-inch walls, the Superyard XT is a practical way to create a portable, safe play area for young children or pets. Enclosing 18 square feet, Superyard XT is made of durable reinforced plastic. Weather resistant and sturdy, the gate can go anywhere outside--yard or beach---and can also be used inside to protect displays (such as Christmas trees) or keep kids and pets away from dangerous areas. This is a great way to keep your child safely with you as you garden. Superyard arrives fully assembled; all you need to do to make an enclosure is snap two panels together. Snapping the panels together does take a bit of grunt work, but the plastic is flexible and doesn't break easily. Be aware that this product is only intended for children from 6 to 24 months of age--older children may try to climb over the gates. For younger children and pets, however, this is a great way to keep them safe and let them play.
Editorial Review This gate allows you to create a large enclosed play area (18.5 square feet) for your toddler, indoors or out. Complete with a portable carrying strap, this six-panel gate made of durable plastic is easy to carry to wherever you might need it. Simply extend the panels and snap the gate shut and you've got a safe, spacious area for play or naptime. The area can be extended to 34.4 square feet with the purchase of the extension kit. --Jane Snyder

great for keeping the little ones safe December 3, 2007 I rated this low as far as fun goes, because it's not really a toy. The fence works very well for keeping the wee ones confined and is extremely durable.
Great for dogs July 3, 2007 I use this for my dog while I'm out of the house. She was very unhappy in the crate suggested for her size (Maltese, 7.5 pounds) and the larger crates aren't easy to move around and are very expensive. I shape the superyard in a rectangle and put it in my foyer where there's no carpet, I add one of the potty training pads and have plenty of space left for her bed, toys and food/drink.
SUPER April 3, 2007 This was one of my better buys for our twins. I purchased it about a year ago when they were just starting to crawl and am still using it, not to keep them in now, but to keep them out of certain areas of our home. We have an open floor plan and this is the only gate that will stretch across a wide opening. Though we've had to screw it to the walls it has saved a lot of headache when it comes to keeping the boys out of "not so baby safe" rooms that we wouldn't otherwise be able to block off.

Concept is great, but not sturdy enough. At least for my use it wasn't.
Superyard XT Gate February 3, 2007 This gate is great by itself or with an additional set for little ones just starting to crawl or even just starting to walk. This gate locks together to keep you little ones contained to a small area. The gate makes a great small play area for little ones that want to be outdoors!
