The start of another filler portion November 22, 2001 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This tape starts the filler episodes in which the Z fighters have ten days to prepare for the Cell Games.Content: C+ Animation: B+ Music: B (dub) English Version: B Fight Scenes: C Well, I can't really say this is a highlight of DBZ. Probably the only good points are when Cell makes his declaration of the Tournament. We also get to see the first appearence of Mister Satan (a.k.a. Hercule). In this volume, Goku finally meets the completed Cell and Gohan meets a girl named Lime. There is also the return of Goku's old nemesis General Tao. These episodes are basically character development episodes. But if you want to watch a show about martial arts and action, what the point of these episodes? Did the writers get tired? Anyway, I would recommend buying this tape, but than wait for the Cell games to actually start for the next volume.
The Greatest Episodes ever! September 26, 2001 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I think that these episodes are the best because even though there isn't any fighting in it, without these episodes you wouldn't understand what was going on. I think the best bits are when you see Goku and Gohan in the hyperbolic time chamber training to defeat Cell because when you see Gohan in his Supersaiyan form and with his hair cut there is no other word for him but COOL. I don't like the bits when they put in too much detail e.g. the episode 'A girl called Lime'. I tell you what really annoys me as well ? It's that Hercule guy. He just wants to make me puke. I mean does he realise the true power of Cell? If I did I would run a mile! Anyway, I still that these episodes are the best because this is when you first realise the true potential of Gohan's amazing power that is hidden within
End's To Soon September 21, 2001 This is just the first tape in the Cell Games. What I wan't to know is where is the rest of the saga. I mean it's a good start but it leaves you hanging.
I have sumtin to say! September 6, 2001 .... overall, sure this video wasn't the best, but u can't expect fighting ALL the time, or the show wouldn't have a plot. this video gives u info, and a thing to look forward to. so get it.
